MorMor explores the visual and verbal landscape of Cornwall. The photographs navigate the area’s essential elements of rock, sand, and sea, each paired with a word from the Cornish language.

The collection contains photographs of Cornwall from 2022 to 2025.

Every book is numbered and comes with a bookmark. The book is printed on fully recycled A4 paper by a carbon-neutral printer based in the UK.

“By focusing on the elements, the book can focus on a Cornwall that contrasts with typical depictions of the British seaside, whether that’s vibrant and sugary or post-industrial.

This Cornwall is open, lonely, and unified with the natural forces that shape its rocks and towns. Subjects appear alone. And it almost seems inevitable that a Cornish word should appear opposite each image, as language does, emerging from the material of our perceptions.”
